Friday,26th. February,2010 will be remembered as an exciting and enjoyable day at Bata Capital Centre. It marks the day that the newly extended shop was re-opened following 9 days of renovations. The store located along Mombasa Road at the Capital Centre shopping complex is one of the top 20 best performing stores in Bata Kenya.
Previously measuring approximately 1,400 square feet,the store benefited from the relocation of a neighbouring tenant. This allowed for an additional 350 square feet,sufficient to accommodate much needed extra stock area and enhance the selling area.
Due to its prime location just at the entrance of the Capital Centre,few modifications were incorporated to allow for even greater traffic flow. This included the relocation of the main door to face the incoming traffic to the Complex as well as the introduction of the Hush Puppies range of shoes.
The official re-opening was graced by Bata Kenya M.D. Mr. Nasir Rafique,Retail Manager Agnes Murila and excited Sales staff and customers. The occasion coincided with the just - launched "Bata Irresistible Sale".
