“Children are our future and we should all participate in brightening their future”. These were the Bata Children’s program (BCP) Director, Nicole Voillat’s words summarizing the essence of the Bata Children’s Program.
Ms. Voillat was in Kenya for a one week visit in the Month of June 2011. The main objective of her visit was to meet the newly appointed Bata Children’s Program Africa Coordinator, Ms.Sophia Mbogo and to visit some of the BCP projects that Bata Kenya has been supporting. She visited various Homes which Bata has been supporting over the years- St Anthony Children’s Home in Limuru, Soila Maasai Girls Rescue Center in Suswa, Dr. Thomas Barnados Children’s Home in Nairobi and St Teresa Nuzzo Children’s Home in Riruta.
