Bata Kenya sponsored the Bata Golf Classic on the 24th October 2009 at the green and scenic Limuru Country and Golf Club. It was a full field with over 200 golfers.
The golf tournament was a huge success with a Mini Shop and display of various footwear. The overall winner was J.M. Kariuki. The best lady prize went to Catherine Kihanya while the staff prize went to Mr. Paul Jacubek of Product Development with 38 points.
