Bata Children's Program volunteers, last week visited Rescue Dada rehabilitation centre in Nairobi and donated clothes to the children. The clothes were donated by Bata employees during the 2012 Easter season.
In an effort to motivate the girls' football team, BCP Kenya also donated a football. Ms. Sophia Mbogo , the Bata Children's Program Coordinator in Africa, presented the BCP branded football to the home's administrator.

The population of street children in Nairobi is growing enormously and it is for this reason that rehabilitation centers like Rescue Dada have come up to give them life skills as they cater for their basic needs and later re-integrate them with their families or relatives.
The BCP volunteers spent half day counseling the children and shared drinks and snacks with them.
