A party was held on the evening of 20th April 2011 to bid Mr. Paul Jakubec, the outgoing Product Development Manager, farewell. Mr Jakubec has worked in the Bata Shoe organisation (BSO) for almost four decades, having joined Bata in 1972.
Before joining Bata Kenya in 2008, he had worked in several Bata companies in Africa Including Bata Zimbabwe, Bata South Africa and Bata Uganda.
Speeches were kept at a minimum as the guests at the farewell party were wined and dinned at the Tribe Hotel.
