The second Bata store in Rwanda was officially opened on the 18th of April 2012 in Kigali through franchise partner, MESGO Group. In July last year , the first Bata store was opened in Kigali following the agreement signing with MESGO.

The store is located in the town centre, housed in the ultra – modern, 17-floor Kigali City Towers (KCT). The KCT is currently the talk of town, housing reputable tenants such as Nakumatt Supermarket and Mr. Price.

Kigali 2 Bata, classified as a City store picks from both the 2010 and 2011 City concepts. The opening of this second store under the MESGO franchise, falls in line with the franchisee’s Business Plan of opening 3 retail stores within their first term of operation in the Rwanda market.
