On Monday 1st November, members of Finance department bid their departmental manager , Benson Okumu goodbye. At a ceremony held at the office, and attended by the MD and Human Resource manager, the outgoing manager, thanked his staff for their co-operation during his tenure and wished them all the best. Further, he welcomed the new boss and expressed his best wishes to him as well, as he was taking up a new responsiblity.
The previous Friday evening the finance department had dinner together with their boss and and presented him with many gifts.
Mr Okumu, has now been transfered to Bata South Africa as the Chief Finance Officer, a post which he has held in Bata Kenya for two and a half years. In his place comes Mr. Mark Romeril.
