You will notice a great improvement on Bata Nairobi Depot now, if you compare it with what it was before. It has been renovated and re-designed to a clean simple design more like that of a retail shop.

The new face of Bata Nairobi depot

The depot was officially re-opened on the afternoon of 1st April 2011 in a ceremony graced by the MD Mr Nasir Rafique. Several wholesale dealers/stockists were also invited to the event.

Mr Rafique said that the Bata factory is working at increasing production and developing new products to meet better the market needs. Also he announced a 5 percent discount on all leather products up to 6th April 2011 to mark the re-opening.

Earlier in the week Likat Franchise store on Philadelphia House - Tom Mboya street, was opened with pomp after a much-needed sprucing up. The ceremony was attended by Retail manager Ms. Agnes Murila, the MD, and the Franchise owner Mr George Maina.
