Bata Children’s Program volunteers presented shoes to Loreto High School, Limuru Journalism Club on 10th February 2012.
Loreto high school, Limuru, also informally referred to as as Kottet, is an excellent and top national school for girls from all walks of life.
The school’s Journalism club has had this kind of arrangement with Bata over the years which sees the girls sell the shoes they receive from Bata , to the school, staff members or their fellow students to generate income to cover printing expenses for their news publication ’The Kottet Blaze’.
This helps the girls develop entrepreneurial skills which when coupled with the high quality education offered at the institution, help the girls to lay a strong foundation for a brighter future.
