Bata Kenya has had many partnerships with local authorities and residents associations over the years many of them addressing pressing issues around the town and especially those promoting environmental protection and awareness.

This joint recycling program will see the drums cut in half and converted into 200 litter bins. The council will then strategically place them around the Market, major business units and residential dwellings to promote proper garbage disposal in a bid to keep the town clean.

The Mayor thanked Bata for this positive move and added that the donation will go along way in achieving the goal of having a cleaner town.
